Default avatars in Second Life : free mesh clothes
You still have great mesh clothes, skins, shapes and accessories in the default avatars provided by Second Life (the ones you choose from when you first create your account for example). In the Toolbar buttons, click on “Avatar” and you see a list of default avatars that you can copy to your Inventory. Or click the menu “Avatar” or “Me” and then “Choose and avatar“. You can mix and match items from these avatars with anything you want. It is free mesh apparel ! Use it ! Second Life even made full mesh avatars for you ! Discover those mesh clothes and mesh bodies in your Second Life, you will use them for sure ! There is a basic good AO (Animation Overrider) for free, mesh shoes, and hair, shape and skin, eyes, mesh clothes, and sometimes accessories like glasses and hats.
Default avatars mix example 1 female: Maria – Hair, Lashes, Skin and Shape / Shawna – Pants and Shoes / Kimberly – Tee / Elizabeth – Glasses.
Default avatars mix example 2 male: Archer – Shirt / Derrick – Shoes / Jaxon – AO, Eyes, Hair, Skin, Pants and Shape.
Default avatars mix example 3 female: Elizabeth – Hair, Lashes, Skin / Maria – Shape / Amy – Top, skirt and tights / Delilah – Glasses / Kimberly – Shoes.
Default avatars mix example 4 male: Jaxon – Vest / Archer – Hair, Shoes and Pants / Dylan – Eyes, Shape and Skin.
Default avatars example 5 male Skin: Dylan – Eyes, Shape and Skin with great details, face hair beard and hairbase / Archer – mesh Hair.
All these default Second Life avatars clothes hair and skins are a mix between system layers and mesh layers (some full avatars have mesh body too), it is recent work, quality clothes. They provided these items to wear the whole avatar look at once, but you can use many parts with other content without major incompatibility. Enjoy !
